Do you want to explore “the Venice of the Netherlands” together with your friends? Are you interested in experiencing local culture in a beautiful unique city in the Netherlands? Have you ever wanted to spend a day sightseeing with friends at a fraction of the cost? Then this is your chance! The Culture Committee is very proud to announce that our next day trip for the semester is coming up, and this time we’re headed to Giethoorn and Zwolle! Join us for an unforgettable Saturday filled with activities including a boat trip around the beautiful village of Giethoorn, exploring the city of Zwolle, climbing the famous Peperbus (tower), a city tour by ESN Zwolle, and dinner together!

We will be meeting at Cambridgelaan Saturday morning, then head out by coach to Giethoorn (Dutch Venice) where we will have organised a boat tour around the city! Following this, we will travel to Zwolle where you will have some time to explore the city and have lunch. We will then gather later in the afternoon to climb the Peperbus and see the city through a city tour organised by locals. We will end the day with dinner together before heading back to Utrecht late in the evening.
