Cycling Clinic

Now you have had some time to settle in, hopefully, got used to our weather and many bikes it’s time to take integrating to the next level.

Cycling in Utrecht can feel quite intimidating to many new students. However, fear not, together with the Green Office UU, we are organising an interactive cycling clinic to tell you all about the ins and outs of surviving Dutch cycling traffic. We are here to make you feel confident travelling by bike and will also take you to practice in small groups. You can sign up through the following link:

Still not sure about why to cycle? Cycling is the most sustainable mode of transport, next to walking. Another benefit is that cycling gives you more flexibility, making you never have to wait for a bus anymore: just grab your bike and you are on your way.

What: Cycling clinic
When: 27th of February 15:00 - 16:30
Where: Green Office HQ (Heidelberglaan 8, room 0.44)
Needed: A bike (if you want to practice after the theoretical part)

Annual International Student Survey 2020

How do you feel being an international student in the Netherlands? Share your opinion and win a cinema voucher!

This is the third edition of the Annual International Student Survey (AISS), an initiative of ISO (Dutch National Students Association),  LSVb (Dutch Student Union) and ESN The Netherlands to examine and monitor the challenges international students face while living in the Netherlands. By presenting the results to policy-makers and politicians we aim to improve the experience of international students living in the Netherlands.

Find the AISS 2020 here:

Filling out this survey will only take 10-15 minutes and helps us to get a better insight into what is important to international students staying in the Netherlands and what could be done to strengthen their position. Amongst the participants, we will raffle six cinema vouchers worth 15 euros.
